In a Stunt Car

Now it’s unlikely I’ll be playing Warhammer Online any time soon. I’ll even admit to not really having any idea of the difference between Warhammer and Warhammer 40K.

But that’s besides the point. The Design Manager appears to be awesome. You, if you’re inclined should go watch him discuss the basic idea of the races, and after that, the overall class comment, which includes the fact that The Hammerer sounds super, and that there will be NO healer only classes. And if you want one piss off.

He really is great.

Also, here is a “we don’t do these as well as Blizzard, and this tells us bugger all about the game, but here it is anyway” trailer for Fallout Three. I was never massively into Fallout, it seemed cool, but never had my time at the controls. Cool setting though.

Props to TBALC’s film success.

For bonus points, my (maternal) grand parents had their 65th wedding anniversary last week. Yeah.

Falling Out of an Aircraft

Have sat at this editing screen so long, I’ve forgotten what I was initially going to post about.

Oh yeah, the 2012 London Olympic’s logo… Well, it is apparently meant to grow on me for the next five years or so. I’ll check back then (no I won’t, I’ll have forgotten) but man… 400,000 pounds. That’s some logo ya got there London.

Hmm, no that isn’t really it.

Because I’m a whore (generally and specifically), I’ve been wasting bandwidth, as ever, at apple/trailers, and I have to say, who was it that dolled out the “Vampire you’re hot… Zombies, not so much”? Because lets face it, Vampires are almost always awesome, (Buffy’s variants being the popular antithesis here) and zombies, even the new and improved running zombies, rather than old and busted lurching zombies just never got much love. Sure, they got dispatched in guns akimbo style, or possibly pump action shotgun to the face, which is better than most stakings, but generally, zombies are the losers of monster mash (aha).

Vampires, clean up. Here’s Lucy Liu, cool.

Also, TBALC’s illustrious film section, Occasional Goldfish (Productions? Films? I forget which), has made it to the Christchurch finals. Proving once and for all, that we, and by we, I mean they, rock the party. Yeah. Suck it Llamas.

At this point, I’d like to give a big shout out to Word Press for having auto save :)

And at THIS point, I’d like to once more fess up to being a terrible RAGE fan. Not only did I not move my body to CA to see them at the reformation gig in the sky, but I think my favourite album is…. a covers album. That’s right. Renegades. It is a mighty album. MIGHTY.

/searches

Hmm, The Alternative Press declares it:

A tour through three decades of sonic recalcitrance, Renegades is the genome map of seditious sound.

Which sounds pretentious enough for my liking. While The Village Voice labelled it “The most penetrating and engaging album of their career…” well, according to MetaCritic they did.
